Finding That Cheap Car Rental

Certain situations arise that institute a desire for a cheap car rental. It could be because we were in an accident and need a car while our own car is being fixed. It could be because we are going away for the weekend and we are not sure that our car will make it. So we rent a car, which will get us where we need to go. Or some of us rent a car to go on vacations. We do this either because we think the trip will be to hard on our own cars or we just want a more comfortable ride. Whatever reason we rent cars, how many of us know how cheap car rental can be? In this article we will tell you about some places to rent cars at a good price.

There are many different car rental places available out there. You probably have quite a few in the city where you live. It's probably pretty easy for you to just pick up the phone and call and reserve a car. But are you getting the best deal? Maybe not, but there are ways to make sure you are getting the cheapest car rental around.

Number one, shop around, and never call just one place. Call all the places in your area and tell them exactly what you want and tell them you are calling around for the best deal. Chances are if they want your business then they are going to work with you and tell you what their cheapest deals are.

Number two, Go online! Go to someplace like Priceline.com. When you enter all the information on what you need it will give you a list of all the rental companies in the area surrounding your location. It will tell you what each company returns the cars for. So this way you can choose the best deal.

Renting a car is not as expensive as you may think. But it does depend on where you live because the prices are a little higher in some areas. And how long you reserve it before you pick it up can also affect the price. But let us give you an example. Lets say the car is needed in Los Angeles. If you reserve an economy car within six days of pick up it will only cost you $ 11.00 a day. A compact car will be $ 13 a day if you reserve it up within seven days of pickup. A mid size car will be $ 13 a day if reserved within six days of pickup. These are all weekend deals. Not bad at all. That is less then $ 45 for a whole weekend.

Some places will give you a better discount if you reserve it a few weeks ahead of time. Sometimes they will offer you an even better discount if you need it for a longer period of time. If you can be a thrifty and savvy shopper a cheap car rental can be a reality.

Insist on OEM Auto Body Parts

One of the easiest ways to get ripped off in the automotive world is by having a body shop use cheap, third-party auto body parts on your car repair. Like all auto parts, body parts have a tremendous markup, and if you don’t know what you are doing, it can be easy to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous repair centers. Insisting on using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts will secure that your repair job comes off perfectly, and you wind up with a vehicle that is “as good as new.”

Unfortunately, fender-benders and accidents can happen, and at these times car owners can become understandably flustered and confused. The entire process of dealing with insurance companies, filing police reports, and seeking estimates from body shops can be a bit overwhelming. It’s not surprising then, that many people just want to put the entire experience behind them, and they rush through the process of having their auto repaired.

But this can be a big mistake in several ways. For example, unless you specify the type of parts you would like to use on your repair, and are prepared to oversee the repair to make sure it is to your satisfaction, many body shops will use cheap, third world quality replacement auto body parts, lowering the value of your vehicle.

Why would a body shop knowingly do this? As usual, the answer comes down to money. If your insurance company reimburses the auto shop $2000 for the job, and they can buy a cheap “knock off” auto body parts for one third the cost of standard quality parts, this results in a great deal of profit to the body shop!

But while this may be wonderful for the body shop’s bottom line, it is terrible for the car owner. You can easily wind up with substandard auto body parts on your car, or even parts that do not fit perfectly.

Of course, the best way to avoid all this is to use OEM car parts. You never have to concern yourself about either the quality or the fit of your auto body parts if you insist upon OEM. And if a body shop mechanic should attempt to talk you out of using OEM body parts, you should be very skeptical. The odds are, they are simply trying to lower their expenses in order to increase profits. Don’t fall for it!

Other times, body shop mechanics will ensure you that they only use OEM body parts, but you still need to be diligent and examine the final work. Unfortunately, somebody shops will claim to use only OEM parts, but in reality they are substituting cheaper “knock offs” that wind up on your car. Besides being unethical and disreputable, this is also illegal and it is called fraud. If you discover a body shop misrepresenting the parts they are selling you, it is recommended that you contact both the police and the Better Business Bureau.

In general though, most body shops will gladly use OEM parts when requested. If you have any doubt about the reputation of the body shop, be sure to also get it in writing. That way you will have documentation if it should be needed to prove fraud or other wrongdoing in the future.

Insisting upon OEM auto body parts for your car repair will ensure your vehicle is returned to you in “factory new” condition.

Overseas Auto Transportation Can Be Made Easy

Moving overseas is certainly quite a bit more complicated than moving to another city. Unless you are going to sell your car and buy a new one at your destination, you are going to have to employ a car shipping service. Many people are unsure if it is worthwhile to have their car transported when staying overseas for a while.

Understandably, it seems like a complicated process. However, with the help of a full service auto transport service, the process is fairly simple and stress-free. If you’ve never shipped a car overseas before, this article will provide an overview about your car’s upcoming journey.

Types of Overseas Transports

The first leg of your car’s journey is the trip from your home to the port. If the port is close you can drive it yourself. If it is farther away, you will probably have the auto transport company handle that part of the journey as well.

Once your car arrives at the dock it will be shipped one of three ways: RORO (Roll On Roll Off), in a 20-foot container, or in a 40-foot container.

Roll On Roll Off is commonly used for short trips. For example, it is the most common way that cars are shipped to Hawaii or Puerto Rico. The ship is basically a large car ferry. Your vehicle is driven aboard and parked along with many other vehicles. Upon arrival, it is driven out onto the dock. RORO service is usually cheaper than container shipping. However it is also less safe and your vehicle is more likely to be damaged. This shipping method covers the car itself. There is no provision for shipping any personal belongings.

A 20-foot shipping container is a safer method of auto transport. The car is loaded into a standard shipping container, secured so it doesn’t move during the trip, then the container is brought aboard the ship. Most of the time these smaller containers will fit only the car itself. If there is room in the container some shippers will allow you to ship personal belongings as well.

The best solution for shipping both your vehicle and household items is a 40-foot shipping container. The other items are loaded in first then a wooden bulkhead is placed in the container to separate these items from the car. The vehicle is driven into the container and secured as above. This shipping method is safer for both the car and your other belongings but is likely to be the most expensive shipping method.

Other Details of Overseas Auto Transport

Overseas transport is going to be more expensive than typical ground car shipping. Shipping will incur port fees at the destination. If shipping to another country, you will have to pay that country’s tariffs. Finally, your insurance will almost certainly not cover your vehicle during the trip. You will need to purchase maritime insurance which generally costs 1%-3% of the price of the vehicle.

International shipping has stricter documentation requirements. You will need the original title to the vehicle and may need other documentation depending on the destination. An experienced international auto transport company will be able to help you with the details so that you can get everything prepared before your move.

Breakthrough EBay Income – Latest 7 Maximum Steps to Supercharge Your EBay Income

Almost everyone has heard of the success stories of thousands, if not millions, of EBay merchants. They have found financial freedom just by doing business in that popular online auction website. However, while many have succeeded, some have found it difficult to maintain that steady flow of EBay income. If you're one of these merchants who need that "shot in the arm," here are the latest seven maximum steps for you to take in order to supercharge your EBay income:

1. Make full use of the EBay traffic reports. Not everyone knows that there's this handy tracking tool that can help determine the number of visitors per day and the location of these visitors.

2. Research on the latest trends as well as emerging fads. You can do this by scanning fashion websites and the upcoming collections by various designers. You can also scan the paparazzi photos of celebrations. People like to buy items that look akin to what celebrities wear.

3. Set a good price for your products. Keep your starting price as low as possible. You there before need to have suppliers who are willing to provide you low prices so that you can offer the items at low prices, too.

4. Describe the products as accurately as possible. Since customers want to know every tiny detail about the product that they want to bid on, you need to have their "eyes."

5. Offer discounts every now and then especially to loyal buyers. You may offer a discount rate or a free item to go with their purchase.

6. Encourage your potential bidders to leave inquiries or messages about the products on your page.

7. Always deliver on time. Customers expect the items to reach them on time so be a good seller and send the items as soon as possible.

Top Selling Items On eBay – Great Tips To Help You Sell More On eBay

One of the keys to being successful on eBay is know what items are the top sellers and which ones have too much competition. There are several ways to search eBay to find out what is on fire and what you should be selling.

Go to eBay and look for eBay Pulse. This page allows you to see what products are most searched for on eBay. You will also see the top eBay stores for this product. If you want you can select a category such as home and garden and see what terms are being used most frequently. This is a great way to see what is in demand on eBay and what product is being supplied. Once you know the high demand products then it is a matter of finding a wholesale supplier of that product.

Most successful eBay sellers are ones who have found reliable wholesale suppliers and drop shippers. I started selling on eBay back in 1997 and it took several months before I found someone I could trust to supply me with wholesale items. There are several ways to look for wholesale suppliers. The obvious way is to search the internet for suppliers. If you are selling bedding then go to Google and type in “wholesale bedding suppliers”. Now the hard part starts. You will have to weed out the bad guys and hopefully find the one or two good wholesale companies. Another problem you might run into is that you will need a wholesale license or business license before the wholesaler will send you product.

This is one of the reasons I like to use drop shippers. The other reason I like drop shippers is because they don’t require a large sales volume. I don’t want to have to buy $500 dollars worth of product and have it shipped to my house before I know if the product is any good and if I can sell it on eBay. I would rather list the product for sale on eBay and then order one of the items from a drop shipper. The drop shipper will then send the item to my customer under my label. Having a good drop shipper is extremely valuable in the eBay game. Bottom line is that it comes down to supply and demand. Find out what people what using eBay Pulse and then find a reliable drop shipper or wholesaler for that product that is in high demand.

How to Use eBay and Online Auction Sites For Beginners

When it comes to online auction sites, eBay is king. I have made around 200 transactions through eBay and have had a positive experience that far. You can just about find anything imaginable on eBay from popular new items like unlocked smart phones to a million dollar mansion on your very own island.

If you are a first timer eBayer, I would suggest bidding on a small inexpensive item, so that you can get used to the process start to finish (bidding, paying, and giving feedback). This process will hopefully also boost your own eBay identity through feedback, giving buyers and sellers more confidence about what kind of eBayer you are.

There are a few points that one should keep in mind before buying and selling on eBay.

First, I would be wary of or avoid international sellers (sellers that are outside of the US), until you are a more seasoned eBayer. There are many ins and outs to international shipping costs, duties, taxes and other details that can make overseas transactions a hassle. I think for your first purchase you should shoot for a smooth transaction and stick with an item that is currently residing in your own country.

Second, you should really know about the item that you are bidding on (or selling for that matter), and make sure that the item in the auction is indeed the same. A little research online will save you a lot of heads in the long run when you have any doubts. By searching the make and model of items and any other important information about the items you are selling or buying, you will reduce the risk of buying something you did not want in the first place. If you are still not sure you can always contact the seller directly and ask them any questions (usually in regards to condition, size, and age).

Thirdly, check out the seller's feedback and comments made from past customers. The feedback and comments section really tells you what you can expect if you should buy something from that particular individual. Also, do not forget to check out the shipping costs, since you will be paying what is posted on the item page. Many eBayers will pump up the shipping costs on reliably cheap items to increase their profit, which are in some cases way out of line.

Lastly, have fun. There are very few items that I have not found on eBay. It is a truly wonderful resource for saving money, collecting, and even making money.

Strongman Solution Selling Model

Solution selling is complex and very exciting. Whether you’re selling Business Process Automation (BPA) or another form of solution, it is likely that you have a tough job that involves a great deal of complexity.

This stuff’s chess; it ain’t checkers.

There may be dozens of decision makers, and while all of them may not be required to say “Yes,” chances are that ANY of them could say “No.” You could be faced with all sorts of competing projects across the enterprise, and political and financial landscapes can change quickly.

STRONGMAN offers a compelling model and simple acronym to help you succeed in your solution selling.

I’ll spell it out and then very briefly speak to each key area.

S-T-R-O-N-G-M-A-N

S is for Solution

T is for Timeline

R is for Review

O is for Options

N is for Need

G is for Galvanization

M is for Money

A is for Authority

N is for Negotiation

These are critical areas to address in your sales cycle.

S, Solution.

Whether or not the prospect fully agrees at the onset of the engagement, you need to be sober in your assessment of whether or not you have a bona fide, legitimate solution for them. Otherwise, why bother?

T, Timeline.

If the customer has a legitimate project that you are selling to, what is the exact timeline? The implementation timeline? Is there a compelling event or deadline driving this project?

R, Review.

Forget about entertaining and servicing a prospect that is not actually in review of the project. If they are simply in research mode (vs. review mode), I would suggest that you balance this project with more advanced-stage opportunities in your pipeline to increase your sales success.

O, Options.

What options exist for your customer? Chances are there are at least five options:

1. Your solution

2. Your competitor(s’) solution,

3. Build it themselves or develop it in-house

4. Do Nothing

5. Improve or upgrade their existing process (perhaps by adding resources or conducting training). You need to be able to sell against their available options, especially the option that most companies choose — which is “improve or upgrade existing processes.”

N, Need.

Is there a need, do you understand the need and does the customer agree with you on what their need is?

G. Galvanization.

This is my favorite one. Remember, you are not in sales to entertain and serve — not completely anyway. If you are working with customers who are not returning your calls promptly, not bringing other key contacts into meetings, not exposing you to post-purchase processes or display other key indicators that they are not as active and committed to the sales process as you are, you should either gain their commitment or move on.

M, Money.

If there is a project in motion, is the funding of the project pre-approved? Does that funding meet your solution’s cost and all of the related costs — such as the staff the prospect will need to devote to deploying your solution? Are you sure of the fiscal cycles? Is the funding coming from resources such as:

1. Project Budget,

2. Cap Ex (Capital Expense requiring a high level sign off),

3. Op Ex (Operating Expense)

4. Departmental Budget

And keep in mind, most companies have the ability to overspend on budgets, or borrow from other budgets, at about the same rate my wife does — which means they can do it — so don’t ever let a negotiator whittle you down solely because of a specific budget.

A, Authority.

A Champion is one thing, an Authority is another. Is the senior executive even aware of the project? Who is the specific authority relative to: signing contracts, producing purchase orders, reviewing legal documents, developing and implementing training programs, technical review and implementations, user acceptance, etc? If you are selling solutions, you had better be exposed to a variety of individuals with legitimate authority over each one.

N, Negotiation.

Many times the real selling doesn’t start until it is time to negotiate. But you want to hear the saddest piece on solution selling: The negotiation process is typically when the sales rep gives up the most concessions and it is also the point at which, in most cases, the customer has already made the decision to go forward. They’re exposing the sales rep to resources that are post-purchase resources (such as legal, technical deployment folks, training folks, purchasing people) and somehow the sales rep feels obliged to start whacking away on their own proposal. It’s insanity.

That’s STRONGMAN. I’ve used it for almost ten years in my own business and as a tool for enhanced empowered sales training. I hope you find it an effective model for your solution selling success.

How To Sell Cars On eBay As A Dealer – 3 Starter Tips For Car Dealers

As the world’s largest online auction site, eBay offers the potential to get your products in front of a large and diverse group of potential buyers. This is especially so for car dealers, as the eBay Autos section of their site is one of the most popular. With about fifty percent of sellers on eBay Autos being licensed dealers though, you’ll have to have a few tricks up your sleeve to get ahead of your competition. Read on for three techniques that will give you the edge.

Tip #1: Build Trust.

Selling a car to an online buyer is a difficult prospect, as they can’t take the car for a test drive before bidding. Add to this the ever present fear of being scammed online, and you’ll have to build a lot of trust with your prospective customer before they will be comfortable bidding on your vehicles. To start with, make certain you have plenty of recent positive feedback.

If you are offering you first vehicles, you obviously won’t have much feedback as a seller yet, but that doesn’t prevent you from making some purchases on eBay and completing them. This will give you feedback as a buyer and at least show that you are an honest person to do business with.

When it come to listing your vehicles, make sure you provide plenty of photos and answer any and all questions that come your way quickly and honestly. If requested, be prepared to provide a Carfax history on your vehicle to potential buyers.

Tip #2: Use The No Reserve Auction Format

The main benefit for people to purchase a car via eBay rather than in person is that they can often get a better price, and avoid the uncomfortable haggling that goes with purchasing from a dealer in person. Because of this, the no reserve auction format is the most popular one among potential buyers and is the format that is more likely to get a lot of bidding action and result in a fair price for both the buyer and the seller. Sticking with this format will increase your sales and reputation, even if it means the occasional vehicle going for less than you expected.

Tip #3 Offer A Back Out Option Guarantee

After a bidder wins an auto auction, they will need to complete payment. Then they may choose to come and pick up the car in person. If they’ve gone through all this trouble and taken the risk to bid, pay and come to pick it up, it is only fair to give them the option to back out of the purchase once they’ve had a chance to see it in person and take it for a test drive.

If you’ve honestly described your vehicle in your listing, you should be comfortable enough to offer a back out option. The increase in sales you’ll make from increased buyer confidence in you will more than make up for the rare customer who takes you up on this type of guarantee.

4 Things to Stop Paying Extra For Auto Insurance Right Now!

You have heard the commercials. They tell you that you are paying too much for your car insurance. I think we get bombarded with those commercials so much that we never really do anything about it. I love the Gieco cavemen, but it never makes me call my insurance guy and get a new quote. I think I should though. Their truly are a lot of ways to save on your insurance rates. I’m probably paying more than I have to and you most likely are too. Here are some ways to cut down that rate.

#1 Ask for discounts

You never know. Most of us have heard of the multi policy discount or the ‘I don’t drive a lot’ discount, but there are usually many more. If you are a Veteran you may get a discount or even a member of different groups can sometimes get a little extra discount. Ask. It won’t hurt and you might just qualify for one of these hidden gems.

#2 Keep your record clean.

Don’t get tickets, plain and simple. If you already have some, start now to get the record cleaned up. It can save you anywhere between 15%-25%. That’s huge and worth following the law.

#3 How much do you want to spend if you get into an accident?

You have to have a certain amount of coverage that will cover the other person if you get into a wreck, but you can lower your own coverage if you want, especially if you own the car outright. But be careful. You could end up paying big bucks out of pocket if you are under insured. A good rule of thumb is that is your car is pretty old you may what to take the chance.

#4 Get anti-theft devices

These things like Lo-Jack and other security systems will definitely give you a discount with your insurer, maybe even as much as 20%. It’s worth looking into. Not to mention the fact that your car won’t get ripped off and hike up your rates. Win-Win.

Think about implementing a few of these things. You won’t be sorry and if you did just two of these things I think it’s safe to say you would save some kind of money.

Negotiating: Forcing vs Compromising

Forcing is a hard-nosed approach that makes heavy demands from the outset. Emotions are displayed frequently, few concessions are made, and the bottom line may be concealed. This technique is used when the other side is determined to make you lose, or in one-shot deals. One advantage of this approach is that it normally uses less time than other approaches and leads to total victory if you have more power than the other side. The disadvantage of forcing is that it can lead to stalemate if the other side uses the same approach. The other side can also become resentful and vengeful.

The forcing approach to negotiating places value solely on the substance of negotiations rather than the relationship between the parties. A forcing negotiator would be pleased if he or she won 100% of the issues, even if the relationship between the parties was irreversibly damaged or even destroyed. This approach has limited use within organizations. It is foolish and dangerous to burn bridges with anyone with whom you work. Perhaps if you are negotiating with a person you’ll never deal with again (e.g., a used car salesperson) you might want to experiment with the forcing approach. Otherwise, this isolating type of negotiation is not relevant for most managers.

In the compromising approach, both negotiators start with exaggerated demands and then slowly work their way toward some middle position. The parties are concerned only with their own needs, and they may also stereotype and malign each other. Compromising is used when the parties are interdependent and continued dispute would be more costly than agreement. The benefits of compromising are that it is a natural style for most people, and it appears to be quite fair as both sides win and lose. The drawback of compromising is that it can lead to extreme initial positions as both sides anticipate splitting the difference, therefore yielding agreements about which neither side is really happy.

How to Sell Thousand of Hot Items on eBay at Once with Very Little Effort

It is the dream of so many people. To sell on eBay, quit the day job, and make big money with a business that runs automatically on autopilot.

Obviously, it is not that easy, otherwise everyone would be doing it. Still, with the massive amount of traffic that comes to the eBay auction pages, the possibility is there to make multiple sales of products you create, which is what you need to do if you are going to make enough money for eBay to become a full time living.

The only thing is, it is not always necessary to create the product to sell on eBay. That's the secret!

There are many products in the modern digital world which are sold with resell rights. Resell rights is something that you really should develop a full understanding of, if you are going to build a long term successful information product business.

The most fundamental of these resell rights is, what is just known as resell rights. This means that you buy a product, and you also buy with it the right to sell that product on to other people. What you do not have with this option, is the ability to sell the rights on to other people. The people who buy from you, as opposed to the original vendor, have no right to sell the product.

If, on the other hand, you buy a product which has master resell rights, that is a different matter. As the name implies, master resell rights means that you have full rights to sell not only the product, but also the rights, on to other people who buy the product. Your customers will have the full ability to sell the product on with resell rights.

Naturally, the products that you can sell with full rights will sell for more than the basic product, but that does not mean that it is necessarily better to buy a product with master resell rights. By only buying resell rights, you will probably run into less competition, and on a marketplace such as eBay, that competition is right on the same webpage.

Here's the bottom line …

Resell rights make it easy for anyone to sell products on eBay, without either creating their own product, or paying someone else to create one. This is the way you can sell 1,000s of items with little effort.

The 4 Different Types of Connectives Used in Good Public Speaking

Good public speaking skills involve more than presenting informative or persuasive material to an audience in an engaging, uplifting manner. It requires the use of connectives to keep your presentation or speech organized as well as unified. Better than a verbal tic, such as ‘um’ or ‘ah,’ by employing good connectives in your speech, you will also make it easier for your listeners to both follow what you are saying and remember more of what you are saying.

The 4 types of connectives include:

1. Signposts

Without a doubt, one of the most popular forms of connectives are signposts. The signpost refers to very brief statements that tell your audience where you are in your speech. They can be numbers – the 1st idea, the 2nd idea, etc.; they can be questions which offer good audience interaction; and, they can be phrases that underscore important points in your message.

Example: The most important thing I want you to gain from my presentation is that breathing with the support of your diaphragm will not only end vocal abuse but it will also mean a more confident, more mature-sounding speaking voice.

In the above statement, I have reiterated what I want my audience to remember but I have also let them know that I have come to the end of my development. While those words are not my concluding statement, they have paved the way for my conclusion.

2. Transitions

Transitions are words or phrases that mark the end of one thought or idea and move the speaker into another thought or idea by including material from the previous statement into the new one.

Example: Now that we have seen that the habitual voice can be affected by vocal abuse, allow me to explain how the situation can be reversed.

In the above sentence, the words in bold mark the transition, reinforcing my previous statements and paving the way for the new statement.

3. Internal Previews

Similar to the transition and often including a transition, the internal preview is found in the development of the speech or presentation and includes what is coming up in greater detail than the transition. The preview is in bold.

Example: Now that we have seen that the habitual voice can be affected by vocal abuse, the remedy is quite simple. Learn to breathe with the support of your diaphragm and allow your chests to power your voice.

Including the original transition, the internal preview consists of the statement which follows in bold.

4. Internal Summaries

Found also in the development of the speech or presentation, the internal summary is the opposite of the internal preview because it lists ever so briefly what has already been stated. These summaries are important because they reinforce what has already been said, making it easier for your audience to follow your message.

Example: In essence, by learning to breathe properly, finding the optimum pitch of your speaking voice, and allowing your chest to do the work, you will eliminate vocal abuse forever.

The above sentence summarizes succinctly what may have been discussed for the last 10, 20 or even 40 minutes of your delivery.

Using any and all of the above connectives in your delivery are very effective means of keeping your audience’s attention as well as keeping your talk organized. Use them and your listeners will remember more of what you have said.

6 Simple Considerations Before Purchasing Honda Cars

When searching for a new or used car, purchasing Honda cars can be a very solid option. Honda has been making cars since the 1970’s and producing cars in the United States since 1982. Here are some things to consider when looking at a new or used Honda:

#1 Reliability

They have always been considered very reliable. In fact, Honda makes more engines than any other company in the world when you included motorcycles, generators, and lawnmowers. So they know what they are doing when it comes to engines and the stories of Hondas running into the 300,000 mile range are very common.

#2 Resale value

Go ahead and check Edmonds or Kelley Blue Book. Hondas keep their value across the board better than any other company.

#3 Green

The Association of Concerned Scientists has rated Honda as the Greenest Car maker in the world.

#4 Fuels Efficient

Across the whole line up of vehicles, they have got some of the top rated fuel efficient cars in each class, including two hybrid vehicles and third being released soon. They were also the first company to introduce a hybrid into the US market back in 1999. (The 2000 Insight) The Civic Hybrid gets in the mid 40’s as far as fuel efficiency goes and the brand new 2010 Insight can get well into the 50’s according to Car and Driver in its industry first ‘ECO’ mode.

#5 Safety

“Safety for everyone” is Hondas motto. Safety features are standard on Hondas. You never pay extra for safety

#6 American made

Excluding the hybrid models, all Hondas are made in the United States. They have manufacturing plants in Marysville, OH, East Liberty, OH, Greensburg, IN, and Lincoln, AL. These are just some of the features and benefits of the Honda line. This is simply for your information and you need to do research and your own due diligence whenever you are going to purchase a car or truck. Knowledge is power.

Jay Sekulow of ACLJ Warns Christians to Act Now

It is comforting to know the ACLJ is with us in today’s climate of Christianity bashing, but according to Jay Sekulow the head of the organization we shouldn’t get too comfortable. In recent radio and TV broadcasts of the ACLJ, Sekulow has urged Christians to act now on issues such as freedom for U.S. military chaplains and attacks against religious symbols and literature in schools and public places.

Sekulow has pointed out that to witness or share the gospel in the military is easier if you are just an enlisted servicemen or officer. The chaplains have been seriously curtailed which makes no sense because it is they who are expected to represent the gospel to soldiers who are either in harms way or may be in the near future.

At a time when schools are making concession for Muslim and Hindu students so they can wear jewelry or garb related to their faith, Christians are being told just the opposite. Tee shirts, stickers, or jewelry that reflects faith in Jesus Christ is being prohibited and singled out. The organization has undertaken representation in many of these cases. There are an alarming number of such cases pending in the courts and much support is necessary to keep these cases updated.

Sekulow is calling for financial support but that is not all. He always urges Christians to pray and is not afraid to say that without the prayers America would be sliding away faster than it is already.

Their website has some useful and easily accessed features that are not found on similar sites. Beside the usual, become a member, sign a petition and make donations are three additional tools that anyone can use. You can write an elected official, call a talk radio show and write letters to editors all with the click of the mouse. These tools can cause a shift in policy if used by enough believers and this has already been borne out many times to date.

The details of the much disputed “Hate Crimes” bill is clearly defined by the American Center for Law and Justice and it is impossible to miss the fact that if this kind of law becomes the law of the land then we are not too far from the Orwellian “Big Brother” kind of society that no one will be able to endure.

The organization is an offshoot of Regents University in Virginia Beach but stands now as an international influence due to recent recognition by the United Nations. The ACLJ already influences law in some 35 countries globally and now has been granted “consultative” status to the European Centre for Law and Justice.

“This special designation enhances our ability to shape the global debate on religious freedom and human rights and dignity,” said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the ACLJ and ECLJ. “With the special consultative status, the ECLJ will now be in the unique position to file legal briefs and memorandums with UN governing bodies on a wide range of global issues. This designation is the next logical step in the development of our global outreach and will empower the ECLJ in the ongoing struggle to influence the world’s decision-makers to recognize the concept that freedom and liberty are universal, God-given and inalienable rights that must be protected.”

The reason this is particularly good news is because more than ever before international precedents are being cited in American jurisprudence. This is a dangerous sign only because it is seen as the erosion of our sovereignty as it pertains to our own laws and self determination. The enhanced positioning in the United Nations allows a better balance or at the very least a chance to offset present laws having to do with human rights issues on a global scale. If they’re gong to influence us why not try to influence them as well?

Sekulow is quick to note that Christians in America are all too happy just to stay involved with ecclesiastical affairs and they fluff off involvement with the law, civil matters or politics. The ACLU and similar organizations are attacking America’s religious freedoms with a new and heretofore unprecedented fervor. The call to action by the organization is by no means exaggerated in these times.

Jay Sekulow has a unique approach in all the cases the organization undertakes. He has repeatedly emphasized on the ACLJ’s radio and TV broadcasts that his strategy is not singular. He says that if one strategy doesn’t work then they will simply try another one, but there is no quitting. It should not be hard for believers to get behind this kind of dogged persistence.

Pastor John Hagee has been heard to say that God gave man two ends. One is his head the other is his behind. He says that we can use …

Used Computer Sales

If you are looking for a used computer, you can save a lot of money. However, there are some very important factors you should take in to consideration before purchasing the first used computer you see. As with all things, a rash purchase can often lead to regrets down the line.

The best advice anyone can follow when shopping for a used computer is to make sure you have a knowledgeable friend at your side who can tell you what is a good deal and what is not. The computer should be given a complete physical inspection to look for damage and glitches. Make sure that you and your friend check for problems and not a salesperson. You should also make sure that the sale you are about to purchase includes the original operating system software discs and manuals. You should have the manuals, discs and licenses for any and all software applications and fonts on the machine.

Remember that computers depreciate quickly, so find out the value of the computer as it is now and not when it was new. You can check out used computer sales on the Internet to see what people are paying, but keep in mind that there is no real true source to find out what a used computer should cost.

Last but not least, make sure the computer you are purchasing is legal. There are hundreds of “hot” (stolen) computers out there in the hands of thieves that would love to get their hands on your money.

Buy Salvage Cars to Rebuild and Save Thousands of Dollars

Salvage cars, what are they really? Many people have the wrong idea about salvaged cars as they are viewed as being merely junk. While salvaged cars don’t have the best reputation by many, understanding how they got that way may change your mind.

Cars that have been given a salvage titles are those that the insurance company claims would cost more to repair than the vehicle is worth. However, it’s mostly based on the estimated value of the vehicle as compared to the Kelly Blue Book so for example if you own an older truck that was in mint condition before you got rear-ended, the insurance company might decide the truck is not worth it to repair so they will want to total it. Having been in this situation myself I can assure you it was definitely worth it to me to repair my truck!

So, what happens is often times the car will be issued a salvage title instead of a regular one. This type of title is meant to protect buyers so that they know the vehicles history and are aware of any potential problems. If this happens it can be well worth it to keep the car even if it gets a salvage title. Many times the car can be rebuilt depending on the original damage.

Many people love to fix up cars as a hobby or business. If you’re looking to get into rebuilding cars, salvage cars are a great way to get started. You can often repair the car or take the parts to build a new car.

If you don’t own a salvage car then another option is to buy one at auction. Salvage auctions are a fun place to buy because they give you access to great cars at often very cheap prices. These auctions provide a function that helps the buyer, seller, and even the environment! If you’ve never considered buying a salvage car to rebuild or even use as parts then you’re missing out on a great thing. You can buy a wrecked but rebuildable car or truck usually saving thousands over a non-salvaged car at an online auction. There are many great vehicles out there just waiting for you to fix them. Whether you use the vehicle for its’ parts or to repair it and make it drivable again, a salvage car can be a great investment.

No matter if you’re buying for yourself or to resell the car, there’s a huge potential to save a lot of money and make money too. Keep in mind, there are some vehicles that are no longer worth anything, but there are others that are worth their weight in gold. If you rebuild the car to exact specifications then you can expect the car to pass the inspection with flying colors.

There are many individuals who specialize in rebuilding salvaged cars as a hobby or to resell the vehicle to make money. Before buying a salvage title vehicle, whether it be a car or truck, either to keep for yourself or to sell it, it’s vital that you check with your local DMV to find out what the requirements are for putting a salvage auto back on the road. Every state has different laws so it’s important to know what your state requires before making an investment.

Buying a car from a salvage car auction is a great way to save money and even make money if that’s what you’d like to do. You’ll also be doing a great thing by reusing resources that are already there. Many people lose out because they are scared to invest in a car with a salvaged title. Their loss is your gain as you come out with a salvaged vehicle that will last you many years at a great price.

I personally own a salvage title car and it’s been running great for the near 7 years I’ve owned it. I saved about $5,000 compared to other cars of the same make, year and model. Another added benefit is my yearly DMV registration fees are about one quarter the cost of a non-salvage vehicle!
